Endeavor Charter School has been named a partner with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s SE WI Applied Chemistry Center as the Center’s director, Dr. Douglas Stafford, completes the second stage of a Dreyfus Foundation grant to fund the chemical sciences and their application in innovative schools as well as their impact on local industry. A big part of the grant is dedicated to benefiting students and teachers who would have access scientific experts and state of the art instrumentation that builds competencies in science. For example, if funded, our students and teachers will have access to 3D printers that represent chemical structures such as molecules and atoms. What a great way to bring science into greater focus! Endeavor will learn of the status of funding by the end of November.
